my past 1,5 months..

so I was a little abscent :) and things happend as live just goes on and on and on....

I'll do a quick photoshoot of the past 1,5 months;

We've had some extreme fruits-of-the-region in our fridge for a while. lot's of strawberries, cherries and raspberries. Actually it was way too much as we ended up making smoothies with the raspberries cause we've had them for a while they already went squishy in their tiny cardboard boxes.

I've planted 4 different kind of seeds and 3 came out which are; basil, peppers and tomatoes. I wonder when the plants will give me their fruits s the weather is terrrrible here atm, only raining. I actually don't dare to put the plants outside now cause I'm afraid they'll get too much water/rain and that will just ruin all the "hard" work. So I'll just spoil them now inside the house and we'll just see how it'll go.

I baked cakes....and this is one of them. that same day I bought a new silicon mold for the bird/cherryblossom tree. Don't know how that would be for you, but when I buy something I immediatly wanna try it out. it's no fancy cake it's just 2layer spongecake with a cherry flavoured extremely purple colored icing nomnomnom. cause it was such a light snack it was gone in a couple of days :)

On to the polishes woooop
In this picture I finally try sort of a half moon manicure. The black polish is Illamasqua - Scorn, with Sephora by OPI - Shiny Dancer and topped it with Seche Vite...I love the blueish metallic look of Shiny Dancer and Scorn is one of the best blacks to work with...specially since it's originale a matte one.

 My favorite neonish pink/coral!!!!

China Glaze - Pink Plumera.

I was eager to pick out a pink colored from CG latest neon colors but it was soooo hard. I watched so many swatches and I decided on Pink Plumera and i ahven't regreted it at all!!! i love, it would look even better on a taned skin, but on pale it works out well :)

I've been waiting for this collection to be available for a while. I love pinks (and purples...) and i knew I had to have all 4 of teh OPI - Mini Mouse polishes...unfortunatly during the trip to my house 1 of the 4 bottles exploded and made a complete mess of the entire package, but I'll just re-order it cause i want them complete :)

I'm wearing If you Moust, you Moust with Nothin' Mouse about it, topped with Seche Vite.

This is actually the most amazing polish ever made!!!  Not the blue one but the black ;)
I'm wearing China Glaze - Techno Tael in 2 coats and topped it with....OPI - Spotted yessss

My special french friend :) has arranged a bottle for me during a tiny swap, big thnx to her mom, and i'm in love with it. I try not to use it too much, as I don't want to run out of it.
I'm still very into crackle polishes...no idea why?! But this one is just...special :)







Well that was kind of a fast forward view, I'm off to do my nails!!! Ooow I should really show my uber stash of swap goods from MUA. the pile is getting bigger and bigger :)

Meh...my camera isn't working as it supposed to and I really wanted to make a post. So all the photos in this post are not mine!! I'll give a link/courtesy of the owner below the photos, but I wanted to share good stuff with you :)

First...I'd like to share my latest Konad plate with you sweeties. The first time I saw this plate it was on Spellbinding Nails , and I fell in love instant actually. It has sweet birds, cupcake/ice-cream/candy, a little animal and stars!!

Look at that!! The only problem was..ordering it :S That was a real pain. Several internet shop UK based used to have it, but all were sold out, even on Amazon. I ordered it through the same shop as where I found the image from and the price incl shipping costs ended at about 20euros...yes for 1 image plate. That's..like...insane!! But I am glad I have it in my collection ;)

Second... I have a couple of new polishes yay!!! With big help from my sister in law :) She was in London for a couple of days and she texted me if I wanted something. She was too kind, cause she brought back Illamasqua Scorn & Baptiste, Nails Inc Whitehall (magnetic) and Filthy Gorgeous Got the Blues (magnetic). As I babysitted my little cousin last Saterday I was given the polishes and I'm sooo happy. ( not only did I get the polishes, but she gave me a new haircut as well, she's a hairdesigner. I had an amazing day!! )  The colors are gorgeous and I hope to show my own photos real soon!

Right now I'm wearing Illamasque Scorn. I used Konad Q1 to stamp the birdies on both my thumbs and the other 8 fingers have Konad M57 leopard. As for the stampingpolish I used China Glaze Poetic...which I think is one of the best stamping polish from my own polishes!! I should try get other shades from that collestion :)

Finger Paints - Art Dealer Tael-er

I loooove Finger Paints polishes. I received my first in a swap and I got very hooked on them. The polish just glides on your nail ( brush is perfect btw ), dries well, no streaks etc and it lasts for at least 4 full days, which is a lot for me since I wash my hands on a regular base during the day..ieuww filthy money and patients etc etc ;)

When I was in NY, my hubby was ill for a day and I didn`t want be stuck in the hotel room either. So I grabbed our little tablet and Googled away...where would Sally beauty be..hmm.. As you may have read some other posts, I succeeded in finding the store and bought lots of goodies woop! Among those this cute tael-color.

Now call me colorblind or whatever. I love the color first of all, but is this really tael!? Cause I see a metallic minty. Perhaps if you close your eye a wee bit as if you`re looking to a painting from pointillism-style, then you would get this;

All blurry but yes more tael :)

Enough speculating about what kind of color it is, I love it that why I bought it and I will wear loads of times.

Now back to the kitchen cause I`m trying to bake a yummy cake!

CND Urban Sparkle

I can`t believe I haven't showed this beauty before! Have been wearing it a few times now. The color is so odd next to all my purple and pink tones...well and the darker/black colors, and minty greens. I just don't own many beautiful teal ones.

In this picture I`m wearing just 1 layer of Urban Oasis, and topped 2 fingers with Tael Sparkle just so you can see the difference. I`ve never wore 2 layers of UB, cause it`s just not needed. 1 layer will cover up the entire nail, no streaks or anyhting, just a pretty rich color.

If you own Color Club's Uptown girl...and the Tael Sparkle, try layer them as well, gives a lovely effect!!! Hhmmm next time I`ll try a matte-layer as well ;)

Latest TD haul :)

Don`t you love it when your package from Transdesign...or which other company you ordered from, arrives! I`m just a happy six-yr old on her bday :) Nowadays I let them ship the parcel to my work address, so my colleagues can have a look as well, and I got them a bottle of Seche Vite cause they were so curious about the product. It took me some time to complete this order since I wanted some effects polishes from CND and I couldn`t choose :S I watched and read so many posts by others and saw so many swatches that I finally came up with 3...actually i wanted 4, but can`t have it all right ;) This is the list what I bought this time;

CND & Color Club are the first bottles of these brands for me, but since I`ve seen so many colors and read good things about them, I really had to try it out :)


Oeh almost forgot!!! I got Orly`s Pixie Dust from Ebay as well...woow that`s so cute .

Channelesque + BM

I felt like a silly manicure again :)

I used China Glaze Channelesque as a base, just 1 nice coat. After it dried I used OPI Ski Tael We Drop with one of the Bundle Monster plates and used it only on half the nails, I though that would look nice...but it ended up silly :) just to complete the sillyness I topped it all with a layer of China Glaze Fairy Dust and used China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat to finish it.

The reason for my silly mood.....today I found out my pharmacy has won a competition. The competition was about all area`s with their including pharmacies were tracked down on their selling numbers of the brand called Avene during a specific scheduled period. The one pharmacy who sold most during that time, could send 2 persones on a special 4-day trip to Avene the city in France, incl flight/stay/etc, where HQ is settled and even visit Toulouse as well....must admit we don`t know the exact set up of those 4 days yet...BUT!! big news incomming... We found out ours was the winning one of the region, and our pharmasist had the hard job to pick out the winning 2 going on the trip..and one of em is MEEEEEE yayayayay. I`m very happy, I have no idea what we`re gonna do there, we`re just gonna enjoy our stay and have fun :)
