Lucky meee...again :)

I told you all I was lucky enough to find several entire LE polish collections by Catrice and Essence. in the end it turned out more then I even hoped for; Papagena, Bohemia, Natventurista, Ballerina Backstage, Enter Wonderland...

But I was recently very very lucky at Sephora in Rotterdam!

As many dutch will recommend this, our Sephora shops are hidden in other shops. The little corners are devided over the Netherlands in the V&D retail shops. V&D has this little thing called "Circus of prices" which will last for about a midweek, filled with amazing sales on well everything the do sell!! This fantastic discount action is as well avaible in their Sephora shop-in-shops; pick out 3 pieces of makeup by the Sephoa brand only for 10euros.....yes you've read it correctly; 10euros!!

So why does V&D do this?! Is it to clean out old stock orr...I must admit I'm not even bothered about the answer :) All I know is since V&D doesn't have a shop in my town anymore I feel amazingly happy when I stop by one which has this sale :)

I was in Rotterdam with my colleague cause we "had"  to attend a special presentation of Vichy's latest Derm Source Lift Activ product, hence you see a small bag filled with a Vichy jar in it. Great presentation, filled with yummy food and a present at the end ;) But before we went there we had a little time for shopping. We stopped by one of the MAC selling points and I picked out an eyeshadow from their latest collection called Mythical. Normally I'm not into these redtype colored eyeshadows, but swatches and info had triggered my thought about it, since it's a great combo with blue colored eyes!! I just wanted to try it out :) I bought a pair amazingly cool black suede platform heels, so I'll just have to train a little at home ( I normally wear only flat shoes/boots cause of work )

At Sephora I picked out 3x my favorite mascara!! (these are normally 18,70euros), 2 different types of foundations and a little jar with "immediate wrinkle filler". My colleague had purchased some items for her family as well. We both had an amazing time in the train back home as we watched our receipt and laughed a little. Normally I would have payed about 107euros for what I picked out...now it was only 20euros O_o

Benefits of working in a pharmacy....

Would be getting discounts on beauty-product you sell, brands such as Vichy, LaRoche-Posay, Avene...etc etc :) Just before the festive days began I took home some products cause I really wanted to try them out...

Avene's cold-cream handcreme....I think I bought 3, just to make sure I`ve got enough in stock. This has to be the best creme for my hands at this moment...being cold freezing weather outside, warm inside. Washing hands occaionally specially at work, dry cuticles etc etc. First minute after applying it's terrible, can't seem to rub it in, hands all white and all. But once you've reached the point it's all drenched in...wow what a feeling!! Not sticky at all, leaves no greasy spots on paper, glas or sheets at night, lovely scent. This is a favorite that will never go away.

Eucerin day and night cream with a hyaluron filter...ah what?! Yes Hyaluron acids will make sure natural collageen builts itself so wrinkle will slowly fade away..don't imagine it's nr 1 wonder product ofc, but slightly fading or even prevent work for me!! Wrinkles aside it also works on our moist-system so it keeps the skin nice firm and hydrated.....non the less this is a brand wich uses perfumes, alcohol and preservations...which again can cause skin irritations. I took home the small test set just to try it out. Sooo why an anti-wrinkle cream?! I`m 29 :(  And I want to prevent, yet treat my skin well!

Vichy Essentielles shower gel...mmmm just the scent. It`s a very soft flowery scent, reminds me of spring. I just want winter to end soooon. All the cold and darkness makes me a sad panda boehoee. using this product makes me feel fresh and clean, but not completly dehydrated. I can use a light bodymilk and it's all good :)

My happy feet

These are ofc my toes :) And this is the first picture i`m showing of my paint-art, havent posted any nails yet, just the bottles thus far. As you can see in my previous post I love wearing my Birki's, but I always polish my toes! Wouldn't it look just dull is they were au naturel?! I like wearing a silly tshirt, or more eye-shadow then normal or indeed funny nails to work, makes it all a bit more bareable to get through the day ;) Neehh it's not that bad, but since I often get stories and backgrounds about peoples diseases, you sometimes need a little extra to get people smile back at you.

Back to the polish ;)

 If I really wanna give myself a nice "treat" I start with a foothbath and use an exfolliant creme ( Vichy Podexine- kerato reducing scrub) to get rid of the callus of my feet, I like using the products of Vichy Podexine (specially for feet)  for it. When I've planned to polish my nails I don't immediatly apply a moisturiser, otehrwise polish won't get "grip".

After feet dried, I first use Nfu Oh's cuticle remover cause the skin is nice soft now. Quickly dip my toes back in the bath to get rid of the excess gunk and remover...

In the toe-picture I've used;

 *  Sally Hansen-double duty....I love this as a base-coat
 *  2 layers of China-Glaze-For Audry 625
 *  for the silver stripes I used a freestyle/tip painter by Essence
 *  on the 2 big toes I've added little nail jewels, also by Essence
 * finished it with another layer of Sally's double duty

And the finish it aaaalll, when the polish was dry I used a rich layer of Vichys preventing dry feet ( Vichy Podexine-Reconstruant pieds secs).

there you go....happy feet :)
