Can't believe I haven't showed you all this omg...cause I've been using the eyeshadows and blush for quite a bit now...
A while ago I had a swap with Anouk from CupcakeBeauty, she sent me a suprise swap package filled with goodies I love! We did agree on some color "requirements" but rest was all a big secret ;)
Look at that cute bag with the poodle!!! It was filled with some samples grey matte eyeshadow by Esenceand a quad as well, blush by Catrice. These 3 products I've used most atm, I love how the grey matte looks on my skin/with my eyes :) The peachy blush is just perfect! Dark green glitter polish, Yves Rocher tiny polishes in Argent etincelant 33 and Corail irise 11, Essence Absolutly Stylish 40, Gosh Golden Dragon 564 ( I can't get this color anywhere since they changed their looks, I looove his color ) and Yves Rocher Brun Peau 81..I havn't used this one yet but it looks a bit like a red with a hint of braun in it but with pink tiny sparkles in it. I thought this will be my xmas polish :) A sweet looking nailfile and Gosh eye shadow primer waterproof...which I need now rainy/snowy season has gebun and I ride my bicycle to work very often ggrrr

Ooeeeh my first Sleek palette
A couple of weeks ago, Ivana & Dolores and me descide to have a little swap. I got them those lovely Teez holos ( sweet Dolores if you want pink still, I`ll take a look for you ;) ) and look what they gave me!!!
My secret wishlisted Essences woop!! I never found them here and I`m so happy I got these, nr 2-6. Color Club and WetnWild...aaannd my very first Sleek palette, with a tiny lipgloss for my mobile in Sweet Sixteen color, lovely pink!
Ivana let me pick out which I wanted and for a while I was doubting between Acid and original. Not having any Sleek products it would be safe to start of with the Original first. Ow wow what an amazing colors, and the products itself yes yes!! I love it so much...I`m in doubt of getting myself a couple more as well ;)
In the next pictures I`ve used nr 3 from both rows...hehe this is still sort of new to me. I`m in a very experimental fase in my life aheuhm of trying out what I like with make-up. And I love eyeshadows, I`m trying out different combos and colors. As I have mentioned before my work is kind of dull :S and my nails and make-up just spice it up a wee bit for me. I do get nice reaction from patients so it works for them as well!
2 layers of my favorite mascara by Sephora, Attomic boost, eye shadow primer by TooFaced, a hint of mineral blush by MAC and extremely pouted lips cause I was doing an amazing pose ;)
Haha my hair looks kind of funky so you can only see my huge fringe...my ponytail is all hidden :)

I received the package, and Daph stuffed with more goodies :) Nail art pens from Essence, nail art striper from Essence, load of samples, Models Own - Magenta Divine ( my first Models Own!! ), tiny LE Manhatten, P2 thinner...isn`t she just a sweetheart!!
We hope to read your blogentries soon again Daph!!, we`ll all be waiting :)

Oeh I forgot to show flakies :)
I totally forgot to show my flakies layered over my awsome french mani which I`ve used Essence "better then gel nails" tips for :)
I`ve used only 1 layer of Nfu Oh 37, just to give it a little extra...too bad the pictures are of a very baaaad quality. It was rather hard to capture the sparkle and shinyness of the flakies :S In rl it looked amazing.

Old & New Essence Magnetics
Aahhhh when I first heared about magnetic polishes by Essence being released my hunt for them began. Since I live in a rather small town, with a shop that indeed sells Essence ( and Catrice/Gosh etc) but the emploiments working there are a type of people...who don`t really take their job serious :S Unfortunatly stock isn`t being refilled as customers want to, and there is really no way to complain either with them or on the detail-stores website cause you don`t get a real answer. It took me about 5 weeks and 3 different cities in the Netherlands and 1 in Germany to collect them all :S 1 Iron Goddess, 2 Copper Rulez! 3 Steel Me, 4 Nothing Else Metals and 5 Metal Battle (not being a magnetic)
Sooo thinking I was "done" and I haven`t even tried them all...still not...and what do they do?! those silly workers at Essence, they make sure a hurricane or whatever went through their collections. swipping some awsome colors away, but bringing mostly good stuff ;) New artliners, new effect top-coats, new studio nails stuff....all very needable stuff..aaannd they bring out 5 new magnetic polishes!! Meaniess!! I have to ahve those as well bah!
So again, the complete hunt began. Germany winning by far cause they already sell all the new goodies, yes their supplies aren`t restocked in a proper way either, but at the end of 3 weeks, indeed not 5, I have my 5 new polishes hurray :) 1 Miracle Shine!, 2 Hex Hex!, 3 Magic Wand!, 4 Mystic Whish! and 5 Pixie Dust! there should as well be a new kind of magnet available as well, one you can use as a thimble...but sold out boehoee
Main differnce for now...as I havent tried all 10 yet, is coloring as you can clearly see. the "old" colors have more metal based colors, whilest the new ones have more shiny glitsorsz and pink tones. just by looking at the colors the new ones apeal to me more, but it`s nice to have the old ones as well :)
( As indeed Catrice and Essence have new editions and new polishes, I`m always willing to hunt the shops for requests. I have indeed helped a couple of polish addicts get their whishitems. but atm...since they`re quite popular it`s no use for me to hunt them down 3 times a week, cause restocking is terrible :S )

Better than gel nails by Essence
Now you might think..wow that`s bright white...and actually it is, but i`m in love!! Applying these was easy peasy, and it looks so perfect. I would defo buy these again. Hmm now I have to test wear them a couple of days, perhaps add a little decal or stamping tomorrow, but when they`re available in my own town, I`m buying a couple of packages again :)
I cleaned my cucticle with a remover first. Then shapped my nails a bit, and evened the surface as well a little with my new P2 file. Cleaned my nails again, only this time with alcohol, so no grease of yukkies were left behind. I still had a little tube of nailglue, so I used it to apply the french tips. Applied 1 coat of base sealer and 2 coats of top sealer just like the bottles mentioned and voila ready to go. I didn`t dare to use an extra coat of fast drieing stuff cause I had no clue how this all would work out. But eventually it all dried quite quick, don`t think it lasted 30minutes to do both hands.
Yep....still looking at the perfect french manicure nails...extremely shiny :)

oeh new P2 and essence goodies
big big photo!!
I went to a quick shopping spree in Kleve last monday, mainly cause I needed yummy food...and I wanted to buy some new P2 and Essence products ( for me and an "order" ) Oeh I got almost all the things on my list yay!
New sponges to wash of my facial masks, a new 4-way file ( I usually only have a glass-file by herome, but I was looking for something with a shining buff thingy ), Essence better than gel nails white nail tips + base sealer & top sealer ( applying them as I`m writting this post ;) so I`ll be making some photo`s for tomorrow!! ), 3 lovely colors for a lovely french girl ( Out Of my Mind, Choose Me!, Red-y to Go ), a peel off mask for stained nails by P2 ( very veyr curious about this!! ), 2 new magnetic polishes ( mystic whish! & hex hex!, but oeehhh I want the pinkyish one as well, they only had these 2 available atm boehoee), and an Essence polish which looked very holo Can`t Cheat On Me, a lovely purple gel eyeliner + brush. They didn`t have any P2 colored polishes that apealed to me, last time I was in Kleve I already got some pastel ones, and I haven`t even tried those.....back to my "better than gel nails" tips :)

Essence brochures (in German)
I was in Germany and came acros these brochures, even though it`s in German ( hurray for Google Translate ofc ) it`s quite handy to see what their trends are :) ...when they`re not sold out. I visited 2 shops, and 1 back home, and not 1 had a fully stocked rack

Tiny shopping haul :)
I walked through our local Kruitvat today, I was actually trying to find some polishes for swaps. At a sudden point my eye got caught by the displays...what was that?!?! Did they really stock up on time with the new LE by Catrice and Essence...I couldn`t believe it haha actually I still can`t :) As I was filling up my basket I slowly realised I really should stop buying every polish in the LE they come up with.So I placed almost all back and just kept 2 polishes which I really love.
Actually I placed all 4 Essence polishes back in the display as they just didn`t had it for me. I only took home the nailstickers and the tiny nail viles, cause they`re just cute to look at :) Now Catrice gave me some more troubles. I went home with 2 polishes, 4 Walk in the Woods and 3 Lavender Breeze. A lipgloss 1 Pink Spring and eyeshadow 5 Walk in the Woods. Quite soft colors actually...hmm...perhaps my subconsious was in a pastelly spring mood !

Ow Sally I love youuuu
This is 2 layers of Sally Hansen complete salon manicure - Pedal to the Medal 330, which I received in a swap with lovely Katherine. I`ve stamped an image of one of the latest Essence plates, and I`ve used Gosh Purple Heart for it. Which I think always works, casue it has a certain soft darkness. Visibly enough, yet not as dark as pure black would be.
I own just a couple of these salon manicure polishes, and I love them. I love teh brushes, the texture, the way it just glides ony our nail love love love!!

Essence - I love Berlin + Award :)
The first 2 polishes from Essene LE - I love Berlin. In photo 1 you can see Love This City, a somewhat corally pink which structure was extremely thin, I`m wearing bc, 3 layers and a tc in the picture. The second photo I`m wearing I`m a Berliner, bc,2 layers and a tc. Lovely grassy green color. Would love to use it to stamp on in springtime I think :)
I`ll try make some photos of the other 3 colors from this LE...I do like the colors, yet I have no clue why it was sold in winter :S Not very festive colors to my opinion, I would rather see them in spring indeed!
I was awared...again :) Both Katherine and Jessica gave me the award, isn`t that sweet!!!
I was already given the award and mentioned 7 things about me, and picked out 15 lovely bloggers....I will tell you 7 different things...but tbh not picking another 15. If you feel like rewarding yourself or tell some nice "7" things about yourself, feel free to ofc!! It's always nice to learn and see a different view from bloggers :)
1.Though I am completely dutch, not any foreign relatives whatsoever...my english is pretty scarry :S Not my typing and spelling, which is terrible cause I have a slight form of dyslexia. But my prenounciation of words is just....english english. I have no idea where it came from, I did grow up watching lots of english shows and we listened to music quite a lot as well. When we have foreigners in the pharmacy they do always ask where I`m from :S
2. I play WOW...a lot, for almost 6 years now. When I create a character I always am very careful with picking out a name. Usually my toons get an ancient greek name with a nice meaning. My main character is Callysto (former warrior is Kallisto) her name derives from a story about a muse of Zeus who was pregnant of him, Hera did not aprove of this love and abandoned her from this world. She was pointed out to become a starsign...Big bear (her son small bear). And as I am a tank I liked the bear story a lot ;) her name also means "most beautiful", and she is a hot chick ;) Other names would be Aggelika, Phaidra, Philene, Philon, Luckybuttons (after one of the cats) and Wizzypixie (yes the goblin just had to have a weird name).
3. I had to put a cat to sleep 6 years ago. His name was Tommy ( Tompouce) he was my cat as I picked him out when my husband and I moved in together in our apartment. He already had a cat and I wnated one of my own as well. Looking back at that time he always had small injuries. When playing quite rough he fell of a stool and hurt his leg, sometimes he had some abdomen problems. he was only 3 years old when he woke us up in the night with his screaming. We could see he was scared, and he was trying to crawl towards us. Calling the vet we could immediatly come, and there was nothing left to do. His back paws were already getting cold, which means a blocking of his veins. Best was to put him asleep. Both my husband and I cried the entire weekend, we were in such grief casue we weren't "ready" with Tommy at all. We had to say goodbye in 15minutes or less....I hope next time one of our cats will pass away it will be of old age. I tend to spoil our little ones as often as I can now and enjoy them as much as I can.
4. If my husband would agree with me...we would move!!! I would love to experience living in UK. We have visited friends of ours with my bday trip in September last year and I loved it soo much. I wouldnt have a clue how it would be to find a job there or even a house, but we`ll manage. But this will be sort a dream never comming true as he doesn`t want to take the risk...which it totally understandable ofc...but still I would love to ;)
5. I`m addicted to hightech stuff. I don`t own an Iphone or Ipad, only casue I have acces to internet at home and at work...and during my trip to work I can`t even use either of those devices since I'm cycling :S But I would loooove to own one. We have quite some tech equipment in our home. We both have our own computer with multi screens, which makes blogging quite easy when I`m playing a game ;) From every televsion in the house we have acces to the main computer for downloaded movies or music. I like this way of living, but my mum doesn`t...it`s too much for her haha.
6. We recently bought a car, 4th of January, cause we had the time and money to pick one out. Before that we sold our car last year May cause the expenses were only getting higher and it was not worth it at all. I didn`t mind living without the car cause you can get quite inventive using public traffic. But now we own one again...life is sooo easy :) Getting huge amount of food shopping, going to my girls whenever I want to..And!! planning trips away weewoo. I did want a car which is reliable with a little space inside, cause I would really love to go camping in France or Italy, oh that would be a dream :) Just the 2 of use, 2-3 weeks hitting the road and enjoy the surroundings. We`re going to start small and organised a little trip to Bruxelles in March. Can`t wait till we go further with it ...
7. I`m scared of hights!!! I can`t even clean our front windows or paint a door just by standing on a ladder :S I get all dizzy and scared. now how stupid is that!! When we were in one of the highest buildings in Bangkok, the top of it had a rotating part...wwoooww that was terrible :S I even went rockclimbing inside ones and I almost got an astma attack cause I was afraid of the heights...sshhh don`t tell anyone though ;)

stamping with Herome plates
Essence - Forever Mine stamped with one of teh "flower" collection/set from herome with Konads white. I used a Claire`s striper in silver to color the inner dot of the flowers...can hardly see it. Topped it with Seche ofc. For some reason Martje and Konad color don`t work very well....I always wait a little before using a topcoat, yet still the colors get a little runny :S A well more excercise!! None the less I like this combo :)

Ciate + stamping (BM)
In these photos I`m wearing 2 coats of Ciates - Sharp Tailoring which just glides on my nails, I love the formula and even the brushes of Ciate. A brand I highly recommend. I had luck I bought a package of 3 different colors At Asos for a discounted price, but the brand really caught me and I would surely buy more :) I`ve added some stars using one of the BM plates. For the stamping colors I`ve used red Konad color and the black one is Essence nail art Stampy Polish. I topped it all with Seche Vite.
Tbh...I had to wait a little longer with the red Konad color then with Essence. Has anyone else experienced it as well...Konad stamping colors to me don`t dry that well :S

Essence - Denim Wanted! collection
Tadaaa...I just had amazing fun :) I thought it would be nice to show you all the entire collection of Essence-Denim Wanted!
These are the 5 polishes that are included in the collection; 01 High Waist pink, 02 I love My jeans, 03 My Boyfriend`s Jeans, 04 Forever Mine and 05 Fivepocket Grey.
01, is more of a coral pink/reddish, extremely strikey, I think 3 layers would be needed to get a nice opaque color.
02, is not entirely black, it has a little silverish shimmer in it. Though you can see that better in the bottle itself then when you apply it.
03, this is what I would call a jeans/denim blue, deep rich color.
04, hmm I`m not sure about this. I`ve read it on someone else`s blog and she mentioned...not seen this color before...I think I share that opinion. It`s almost a neon blue, don`t dislike it, just have to get used to it :)
05, an absolute grey grey...rather a dull grey if you ask me. I wouldn`t wear it like this, I`d Konad a nice purple or red on it, this is too dull for me :)
Nevertheless...5 bottles for about 8.95euros not bad!! Except the pink, the colors glide onto your nails and 2 layers are enough, 02 is okay using just 1 layer!!

My new Essence polishes & Konad
Today I've recieved my new Konad imageplate nr 57, which I've order with Boozyshop a dutch online shop. ( Delivery was amazing fast ) I've seen so many manis with this plate I just had to have it, normally I'm not a sucker for animal prints, but this plate really drew my attention.
Earlier this week I had purchased 2 new polishes from Essence. 03 back to paradise which is a dark green with a hint of blue in it.At first I thought it was an extreme dark turquoise, but when applied it it's more dark green with blueish and 04 Fruit punch which is a creamy orange with slight shimmers in it. Both from the Return to Paradise line. I must admit, I didn't really like the colors when I only applied 1 layer, was very streaky so it has to be 2 or even 3 for a nice opaque color.
For this leopard mani...bare with me ;) it's only my first time use of the plate...I've applied the fruit punch in 2 layers, and used back to paradise with the plate. In mani swatches I saw people use a differnt color to fill up the little gaps the stamp will leave, so I thought it would be fun to do as well...I had better not ;) I used Essence nail art freestyle & tip painter in black and silver for it. Topped it with my favorite Sally Hansen double duty and that was it.
Since the main color was orange...and I needed a moisturising cream afterwards I searched through the cabinet and came across Rituals-touch of heaven. An ultra rich whipped body cream fragranced with sweet orange and cedar...makes an ultimate handcream. So now my hands don't look orange..they even smell orange....mmm
( next time I'll clean the excess polish better before taking photo's ;) )
